We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Production Leader to drive operations at Southern Spars DynaRig production facility in Poland, implement training and good H&S practices.

Working closely with the Production Manager you will ensure adherence to production processes or identify disparities between actual and intended procedures for improved operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership, a proven track record in the composites industry, and effective communication skills.

  • Responsible for shop floor people planning, skills matrix, training programs (both set up and attendance)
  • Driving / organising shift by shift to take some of the day in collaboration with the Production Manager
  • Holds/implements the H&S standards at shop floor level
  • Must have composites experience
  • Must speak Polish & English to a high level (B2 or higher – CEFRP)

Laminator

Examples of duties in the position of production worker:

• applying resins and lamination layers to the appropriate areas using rollers, brushes or other tools, while maintaining appropriate parameters and techniques,

• grinding, drilling and other production work,

• preparation of lamination materials, m.in. such as resins, carbon fibers, lamination fabrics, consumables in accordance with the requirements of the production process,

• preparing the surface for lamination by cleaning, grinding, removing impurities, degreasing, etc.,

• maintaining the appropriate pressure and temperature in vacuum chambers during the lamination process,

• taking products, raw materials and stocks from the warehouse and preparing materials for laying in molds (cutting fabrics, arranging fabrics in molds),

• cooperation with the quality team in the field of quality of documents used for production and timeliness of work.

What you will be doing

  • Material Testing and Development – research new materials to enhance efficiency, quality, or cost, oversee testing and qualification of new materials, provide management with data for material decisions, and manage batch testing of composite materials.
  • Process Development – evaluate and improve current processes for efficiency, manage and align SOPs, and ensure parallel manufacturing processes are explored for optimisation.
  • Quality Assurance – manage environmental controls, QA systems (AS9100), SOPs, and NDT training, oversee quality issues and corrective actions, escalate key concerns, and handle anomaly and NDT reporting.
  • Leadership – Team of approx. 2-3 NDT technicians
  • Technical assistance – when required
