ROYAL HUISMAN 'SARISSA'

WINNER OF ‘SAILING YACHT OF THE YEAR’ AT THE PRESTIGIOUS SUPERYACHT AWARDS 2024

The 59.7-meter sailing yacht Sarissa, built by Royal Huisman, has earned the prestigious title of Sailing Yacht of the Year at the 2024. This beautiful sloop perfectly that blends performance and luxury features a ground breaking propulsion system, exquisite interior, and state-of-the-art rigging and sails.

Selected by an independent panel of judges, Sarissa stood out for her exceptional performance and environmental innovation. Although the 33.5-meter Zemi by Baltic Yachts, recognized for its eco-friendly design and advanced telescopic lifting keel, was a strong contender, Sarissa ultimately impressed the judges with her groundbreaking propulsion system and advanced sail technology.

The sloop represents numerous firsts for both Royal Huisman and the sailing industry. Sarissa boasts a 76-meter carbon mast and AEROsix rigging from Future Fibres. These support an aero-optimised 3Di sail from North Sails – the largest square-top mainsail in the world and the first of its kind. Her sleek design, combined with a thoughtfully integrated interior, innovative layout, and extensive outdoor living spaces, contributed to her recognition as Sailing Yacht of the Year.
