The first Balance 526 was stepped in late 2015. She is a brand new full-carbon fast cruising catamaran. She has a carbon mast from Southern Spars Cape Town and Future Fibres’ ECsix rigging, with and an electric furling boom by Southern Spars Sri Lanka. Sporting a furling code-zero/screecher, we received really good reports about the sailing ability of this vessel whilst under test sails in Table Bay. Since then she has crossed the pond and to complete her first season of sailing in the Caribbean.
